Jayson A Altieri is an Assistant Professor of Leadership at the Leadership and Innovation Institute, Air University, Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama. Prior to working at the Air University, Jayson served in several national security positions at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, Bethesda, Maryland; NATO Headquarters, Brussels, Belgium, and the National War College, Washington, DC. Prior to his work for the US Air Force, Jayson served as a US Army UH-60 Black Hawk Pilot flying combat and medevac sorties in Afghanistan and Iraq. He is also an award-winning author of several publications on aerospace and history topics.
