NEMSPA launches program for aspiring medical pilots
The US-based National Emergency Medical Services Pilots Association (NEMSPA) has launched a new Medical Pilot Career Launch program
The “two-day experience” will be held at the Air Medical Transport Conference in Salt Lake City on 4–5 November, and is aimed at providing learning and networking experiences to pilots in the air medical sector.
The program will include expert panels, educational sessions, hands-on demonstrations, and networking opportunities intended to give participants an insight into the industry.
Speakers will include a mix of experienced pilots, medical crew members, and industry leaders.
There will also be opportunities to network in one-to-one conversations with sector professionals, as well as discover the technologies and techniques used in air medical transport.
“We are thrilled to offer this new program to aspiring and new air medical pilots,” said Brett Reeder, President at NEMSPA. “This is a unique opportunity to gain valuable knowledge and experience and take your career to the next level.”
UK Air Ambulance Charity Kent Surrey Sussex (KSS) hosted their own conference on helicopter emergency medical services (HEMS) earlier this year.
