The partnership will allow the two entities to expand to meet projected demand growth next year
CLCA Assistance, which operates UK-based medical repatriation provider AeroMed has signed an agreement with German medical services provider AMTRAS to share knowledge and resources.
The collaboration is intended to extend the capabilities of both organizations ahead of a projected spike in pan-European patient transfers in 2022.
According to CLCA Managing Director Cherry Adams, the partnership also reflected the similarity of services provided by the two companies in their respective markets.
“We feel that a collaboration and sharing of resources will help develop both businesses and make us better able to respond quickly to the growth in activity that we are all hoping for next year,” she added.
Dr Stephan Klose, Medical Director at AMTRAS also added that: “We identified a synergy in our goals and professional values that we felt we could exploit to our mutual benefit. We are excited to be working together.”
US air ambulance programs Life Flight Network and Life Link III have also recently announced a new strategic partnership.
